AtomWatch: Characters of Gyakuten Saiban 4
It’s a new arc in Capcom’s Ace Attorney series with a new lawyer and a whole new cast of characters. The first character you see in the trailer is Odoroki, the lawyer you play in Gyakuten Saiban 4. Instead of having psychic help from the Fey family Odoroki has a bracelet which he uses to catch nervous twitches that witnesses make. The female wearing a top hat is Minuki, Odoruki’s sidekick and a magician. The next person is Kirihito Garyuu, a defense attorney and the older brother of Kyouya Garyuu, the prosecutor in Gyakuten Saiban 4. Kyouya Garyuu also moonlights as a rock star vocalist in Garyuu Wave. Surprisingly the character wearing a beanie is Ryuichi Naruhodo (aka Phoenix Wright). He is the defendant in the first case where he is once again a murder suspect. Since the end of Gyakuten Saiban 3 Phoenix left the law gig to spend his time playing poker and being a pianist. The final character should be familiar to fans of the Phoenix Wright series, it’s Ema Skye who appeared in the fifth case "Rise from the Ashes". Now she is all grown up and acts as a detective in Gyakuten Saiban 4.

I know it’s impossible to have a full voice-over on a DS cartridge, but I hope more sound clips would make it into the game instead of just “Igi Ari” (Objection!), probably just wishful thinking.

Phoenix’s voice sounds very familiar

Hm.. Phoenix has the same voice as the Capcom special trailer (~8 min fully voiced), where Maya was put on trial for Gumshoe’s lost lunch, and Edgeworth was publicly humiliated for not knowing the DS’s existence :).

What a cool trailer, been excited about it since day 1, I’m so getting this game.
Come to think of it, I was disappointed by the US. cover for the “Justice for All”. I thought it would use an illustration same as the 1st game, which appears as the second portrait in this trailer. Instead, it’s the same as the Jpn cover (w/ the 4 chars’ heads lining up), which is a little boring.
