Stylish pictures of Planet Puzzle League

Instead of having cute characters like Puyo Pop more puzzle games are taking the trendy Lumines approach. Enter Planet Puzzle League (aka Panel de Pon / Tetris Attack) that has rotating skins in the single player versus CPU mode instead of a story with the fairies of flower lip or Yoshi in North America’s Tetris Attack. Even though the gameplay is easy to understand (just match pieces like Bejeweled), Puzzle League has always been more like a cult hit than a blockbuster puzzle game like Tetris. Besides the skins not much has changed in the Puzzle League series. There is online support through Nintendo WiFi with voice chat, but Puzzle League is still Puzzle League with touch screen control. Since style is the biggest change which do you prefer the hipster pieces or the original Panel de Pon design?

I think I like this one a little better, it looks pretty style. I enjoyed Tetris Attack on the SNES but I must admit of all the games I’ve bought and enjoyed, it probably is one of the ones I’ve played the VERY least. Maybe this’ll be like a second chance for me!
