During our Blue Dragon meeting at GDC Sakaguchi-san revealed one of the pieces of downloadable content coming out for Blue Dragon is a random dungeon maker. Today, Microsoft announced that the dungeon creator is coming out on April 27, 2007 for Japanese 360 owners. It also comes at a small price, 300 Microsoft Points ($3.75), instead of being released free of charge. It’s the first pay content for Blue Dragon, but I think the amount of replay value a random dungeon adds to the game is well worth 300 points. What do you think?
The first free download with the new game plus and additional difficulty levels as well, wish they would’ve just included those from the get go since I don’t have wireless access at the moment. This would probably be included in the US. version, for me though I might pay for this download.
Aoshi00 - I’m betting this is still going to be downloadable content for the US too. During the interview with Sakaguchi-san I asked him specifically about DC for Blue Dragon and they mentioned multiple pieces will be released to keep the game “fresh”.
Still looking forward to the game. DLC works for me, I have no qualms over paying something for a substantial addition to a game.

Totally. I’m a freak for post-game random/unlimited dungeons in RPGs. Don’t see them too often either. HOWEVER this should have been included right in the game. What a joke!
