Hot Shots Tennis heading to North America

Sony announced that they plan to publish Hot Shots Tennis (Minna no Tennis) in North America this July. Clap Hanz who has been successful at making the Hot Shots Golf series took a little risk when they decided to develop this game. It sticks to the Hot Shots formula where you have anime-like characters to play as and you unlock additional costumes by playing through challenge mode. Clap Hanz emphasizes the importance of button timing in Hot Shots Tennis. Right above your player’s head is an indicator to tell you if you hit the ball too fast or too slow (a turtle). The real reason to get (or not get?) this game is the four player doubles mode, but that requires having a PS2 multitap.
