The sales numbers are for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are in and after a mere five days of being on store shelves over one million copies have been sold. Contributing to this number are 500,000+ pre-orders in North America. Over five million copies of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have already been sold in Japan, which brings the total sales of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl above 6 million. Are you one of the six million people trading Pokemon for Nintendo Wi-Fi? Or did you pass on the two Pokemon games in favor of something else?

A wifi heavy game; global battling and trading?! Man of course I bought this game! Last Pokemon game I played was Silver version and Green Leaf.

I took a half day off of work yesterday and picked Diamond up along with Earth Defense Force. Being a completest, Pokemon might be my worst enemy. I’ve never played one before, but I’m enjoying the heck out of it. I was almost thinking of bringing it into work today, but that might be a little much :P

I picked it up the day it came out. The store had boxes of them right behind the counter for all of the people coming in to get it. I was glad I came in when the store opened, or I would have missed my chance.
