Operation Darkness: the 360’s military strategy RPG

After a period of silence and a delay to 2007, Success Corp released a new trailer for Operation Darkness. Unlike most strategy RPGs, which are set in a backdrop of sorcery and swords, Operation Darkness is set in a period where you have modern weapons. Maybe Operation Darkness is better explained as Final Fantasy Tactics cross Advance Wars. You still fight the occasional fantastical monster, this trailer shows a fire breathing dinosaur, but your squad will be using ranged weapons like guns. The trailer shows something else that surprising and it isn’t the giant fist that appears from the sky at the end. All of the menus in Operation Darkness are in English while Success Corp is a Japanese developer. If Success Corp is investing extra time to have English menus, some North America/European publisher must be eyeing this title for international distribution, but who could it be?
