Amidst a batch of new screenshots, GameWatch revealed some new details about Kabu Trader Shun. As you may know Kabu Trader Shun is a stock market adventure game developed by Capcom. It’s often thought of the “Phoenix Wright” with stocks, but I’m not sure how accurate that is. Kabu Trader Shun has players watch stocks rise and fall in solo trade mode where the goal is to earn a set amount of money. In versus trade things get more complicated where you have to face a rival and race against them to see who can amass a larger profit. Before Shun goes to the open market he can purchase trading arts that let him alter the price of stocks. Capcom has not announced the game for a US release, but looking at this screenshot Kabu Trader Shun has some English menus which could speed up the localization process.
This is one game I’m looking forward
How it will play out will be interesting
I’ve been looking toward playing these type of games for awhile. I would also love to play that game featuring Square Enix or mario characters in a monopoly type setting.
By the way, the STOCK MARKET is anything but Boring! I personally invest, and while not everyone has made me a profit, let’s just say, I can definately afford my gaming hobby for awhile!

My first impression was that if Capcom could make something as boring as court fun, then they can probably pull off the same thing w/ stock. I must admit I’m not one to follow the Wall street and the business world on a daily basis, I wonder if all these stats would really be fun to play. One thing I can’t seem to bring myself to like is the art style, a little on the childish side.
