Dressing up your drum in Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Touch de Doko Don

By Spencer . May 2, 2007 . 1:20pm

Famitsu has a gallery of screenshots for Taiko no Tatsujin DS and you can dress up little Wada Don (the drum mascot) with costumes. You can make him wear a mask and change his clothes by unlocking items in the game. It’s a clever idea to increase replay value for Taiko no Tatsujin DS and it sort of serves the purpose of distinguishing your drum during a four player match. Namco Bandai has put Easter egg costumes in their other games (i.e. Valkyrie in Soul Calibur II) and I’m wondering if they are going to have them in Taiko no Tatsujin DS. A Pac-Man mask maybe? Or Mario’s hat as an unlockable item?
