Virtual swag at the Square-Enix party

Square-Enix mentioned some of the neat-o bonuses you can get by carrying around your Square-Enix games at the event.

- If you have Dragon Quest Monsters Joker you can get a rare monster

- For Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon) you can get a rare card for Pop up Battles

- For Seiken Densetsu: Mana Mobile there is a special item that changes the color of your pet

Specifically for Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales there a number of pop-up cards have been released in Japan. While there haven’t been any announcements about how to get these cards in North America there are plenty of DS download stations scattered in stores that could be used as distribution points.

Isn't there going to be a Dragon Quest IX demo available for download at the S-E party? Or is that going to be at TGS in the fall?

If my memory serves correct the DQ IX demo is going to be at TGS '07.

Thanks Spencer. It would be nice if the DS had a small amount (128 mb? 256mb?) of ram to save cool demo downloads, like DQ IX, permanently. I pretty sure that demo are deleted once your turn your DS off.

But oh wait, we'll probably see some RAM in the next DS revision: DS Lite SP. You know Nintendo can't resist revising their hand-held, money making, machines.
