Soul Calibur Legends in development

Veilknight dropped us an e-mail (thanks!) about Namco Bandai “crazy ass adventure game” for the Nintendo Wii that stars characters from Soul Calibur. Soul Calibur Legends brings together some of the cast of the fighting game into a third person action adventure game. The concept art above shows Siegfried holding the Soul Edge fighting a huge dragon, so at the very least he is in the game. Namco Bandai has not announced a release date for the project or details about the control scheme yet. The transition from fighting to action hasn’t worked out for franchises like Mortal Kombat, but Namco did a decent job making Tekken Force. Either way Soul Calibur Legends is a welcome surprise to the Wii’s line up.
