Happy Tree Friends coming to Xbox Live Arcade

The biggest surprise out of Sega’s barrage of announcements is they are publishing a game with the Happy Tree Friends. You might remember the Happy Tree Friends from their online cartoon and short stint on G4. The series has cute and cuddly creatures like Cuddles the happy yellow bunny, die in horribly wrong accidents. Stainless Games who made Carmageddon and more recently Crystal Quest are developing Happy Tree Friends False Alarm. It’s an Xbox Live Arcade and PC game where you can play the characters in 3D. You guide Flippy (the war vet with a dual personality), Handy (the beaver with no hands), and Lumpy (the stupid blue moose) on a mission to rescue Cuddles, Toothy and Flaky from “life threatening disasters”. There are ten different scenarios to play and presumably each will have tragic (but hilarious!) outcomes.
