Watch: Ouendan 2’s more serious side

Most of the stories in Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 are lighthearted where you help a kid from wetting his bed and shoot a giant water monster with a hair dryer. One of the stories where you play as the Blue Ouendan bucks the trend and teeters on the sappy side. The story is about two figure skaters, Rina and Mana who have been skating since they were kids. At the ice skating rink an angry Mana yells at Rina right before she gets hit by a car. Mana (pictured) is disappointed in her actions and vows to win the figure skating championship in honor of her late friend. No one shouts “Ouendan!!!” in this video and the story is set to the softer melody of Ai’s “Believe”.
