AtomGeometry Wars coming to the Wii and Nintendo DS
It’s official. The addictive Xbox Live Arcade hit, Geometry Wars, is being remade for the Wii and DS as Geometry Wars: Galaxies. The big change is there is a mission based campaign where players have to defend solar systems from an onslaught of deadly red diamonds. There is also Wii remote/touch screen control, co-op play and unlockable content you can only get by linking the DS game with the Wii game. But at the core, Geometry Wars: Galaxies is still Geometry Wars and that’s probably enough to warrant a purchase.
Kuju Entertainment (the team behind Battalion Wars) is developing Geometry Wars: Galaxies for this fall.

Oh man… all I read was Geometry Wars and DS. I remember the first time I played Xbox live and this was the first game I played. I see the late nights with these new Geometry Wars game.

Not too sure how this is gonna play on the Wii considering it doesn’t have dual analogue sticks. It wouldn’t be the same would it.
