Second Death Note Nintendo DS game out in July

By Spencer . May 29, 2007 . 2:49pm

Next month Konami is releasing another Death Note game in Japan for the Nintendo DS, Death Note: L o Tsugu Mono (Death Note: L’s Successors). The gameplay looks different from Death Note: Kira Game, Death Note L’s Successors has players plan out Kira’s path on a wireframe map of the city on the touch screen. The story mode will have ten stages and players will run into Mello and Near. The first game was language intensive so you might want to hold off pre-ordering Death Note: L o Tsugu Mono unless have a good grasp of Japanese.

See some additional screenshots of Death Note: L o Tsugu Mono past the break.

I hope we get an english release eventually

I like how they use the manga art style, even though the anime has a good style of it’s own

Aoshi00 Says:

Great art, this one seems to be closer to the manga in terms of story, the first game was a standalone game in which anyone could be Kira. I think I would much prefer this one.

Sora Says:

I really wont the death note game. Does anyone know when it will come out in English?

Cayte Says:

This seems so awsome and yesh, very close to the art and storyline. I adore Death Note and hope I can get to play it some day.

I just wish L wouldn’t die…. he is my one and only favorite character. Y^Y
