The Resident Evil iPod

Capcom has released lots of Resident Evil swag over the years, but this iPod nano with an engraved S.T.A.R.S. logo has to be one of the rarest. The only way to get this iPod was to use a JCB card in Japan and spend more than 100,000 yen ($822) in three months. Then you were entered in a drawing to win one of the twenty 2GB iPods. One of the 20 iPods found its way to eBay where it is being sold for $299.99 without any buyers.

In related Resident Evil news Biohazard 4 Wii Edition is out today in Japan and Capcom’s Japanese site has a short TV spot to see. Click on over and hit the button with the blue new logo.

Update: evilrio posted in the contents about another hidden trailer for Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition you can see when you click on the red cell then clicking on the cell for sight. Instead of fishing around for the trailer here’s a link so you can see it.

When you click on the diseased cell floating on the screen, it’ll take you to the “premium” site.

If only I knew more Japanese.

You have to double-click. Once you get it, the five cells on the screen correspond to one of the five senses. The “Smell” one doesn’t do too much, but the “Sight” one has one of the older trailers for RE: 4 Wii Ed.
