Is there a problem with the RSS feed? It suddenly turned into "Shopaholics Daily" for me, or something. It had updates about shoes and makeup. o_O

It's good to actually read a fair and balanced review of Shadowrun for once, most reviews I've read from other gaming sites simply rip on this game without any true explanation. The only point you ever see pop-up is how the the title doesn't live up to the Shadowrun name by being a FPS, as if they didn't know this already and are just starting to figure it out for the very first time.

This isn't exactly the Shadowrun title we wished FASA would have announced at E3 06, and while many of these reviews complaints are valid, especially about Microsoft's poor business decision of trying to push on us a $60 game that only offers multiplayer with a few maps. At the very least, point out what the game does right, too.

Worse of all, it was probably a bad mistake of Microsoft to release Shadowrun so late in the 360's life, especially with the Halo 3 Beta still up and running. Most gamers are probably still fixated on playing the game as much as possible until the beta ends in order to squeeze all the playing time they can from it. With many eagerly anticipating Halo 3's launch in September, they can't keep their mind off playing the game right now and doing so yet again once it launches.

Thanks to all of this excitement about Halo 3, Shadowrun unfortunately gets cast to the side, leaving many with not knowing what they're missing, or even caring to, for that matter. Most probably won't even care about picking this FPS up once the beta ends, if only because of the bad reviews and especially because of the high asking point of $60.
