Recreating video game music in Mario Paint

Ahh… Mario Paint one of my most treasured games. I’ve got the cart and a broken, useless Super Nintendo mouse. I played around with the music editor, but I never arranged a masterpiece even close to this take on Dr. Wily’s theme from Mega Man 2. The work is incredible and the well timed cat meow gave me a smile.

Another Mario Paint composer, TomBobBlender, has a long list of Mario Paint video game compositions including Sonic the Hedgehog and Final Fantasy IV’s battle theme. After seeing all of these I wonder why Nintendo hasn’t dusted off the Mario Paint franchise for the Wii or DS and add in video sharing. It would be a perfect Touch Generations title.
