Right in the middle of the E3 Gamecock is hosting their own event the Expo for Interactive Entertainment, Independent and Original (E.I.E.I.O.). There is only so much time in the world and I want to do an in depth look at one (maybe two?) of these games. I’m partial to Dementium, but I want to know what you want to hear more about. Have a look at what games they are going to bring to the event.
Fury (PC) - The ultimate competitive PVPMMO combines fast-paced gameplay with traditional online RPG elements, developed by Auran. Ship date: Fall 2007
Insecticide (PC & Nintendo DS) - Insects rule a gritty crime world in this high action adventure title from Crackpot Entertainment. Ship date: Fall 2007
Dementium: The Ward (Nintendo DS) - A shocking survival horror FPS unlike anything seen on a handheld, developed by Renegade Kid. Ship date: Fall 2007
Hail to the Chimp (Next-Gen consoles) - Mayhem erupts as the animal kingdom vies for a new king in this politically fueled party game. Developed by Wideload Games. Ship date: Spring 2008
Mushroom Men (DS & the Wii) - Civil war breaks out in a visually stunning fungi world in this action title from Red Fly Studio. Ship date: Fall 2008.
Dungeon Hero (PC & Xbox 360) - A sword-swinging, close-quarters combat, action-packed portrayal of life in the dungeon from Firefly Studios. Ship date: 2009.
Which game out of Gamecock’s line up interests you the most? Post your thoughts in a comment and I’ll see if I can arrange some special coverage for the most popular title. In addition to the six games there are also two unannounced “next-gen” / PC games that will be unveiled during E.I.E.I.O.
I’d be curious to see what Hail the Chimp is all about. There’s been a couple press releases about the other titles, but I’ve heard nary a detail on that one…
With your partiality towards Dementium and seeing how it already garnered a vote I will round it out also as my preference for the one to watch and pretty much put a cap on things for the vote. There is alot of potential with that. I will say though, I’m looking forward much to Insecticide and Dungeon Hero, and to a lesser extent Mushroom Kingdom. It’s also interesting that they are debuting in a separate show, considering that Gamecock Media is probably big enough to be let into E3. It’s also a bit ironic that a site like Siliconera gets invited to E3 while the separate indie event goes on. My wish is for this well written site to cover every single thing related to Gamecock, the indie Event, and E3. However, I know that’s not possible and so I select Dementium: The Ward, for your coverage.
well mushroom men, seems like it could be a humourous war game :) so id take my vote for that one
Yeah, cause survival horror will be really scary on DS. Sigh. Dungeon Hero please. And cancel any other requests for Fury. MMOs blow hard.

I think Dementium is the clear winner out of that bunch.
