Almost Touch Generations… Baseball

Almost Touch Generations… BaseballNamco Bandai announced they are bringing their Famista Baseball series to the Nintendo DS and updating the rosters for Pro Baseball Famista DS. The baseball series dates back to 1989 when the first game was released on the Famicom. Around five years ago Namco released Famista Advance on the Game Boy Advance and have not announced a new Famista game since. The press release for Famista DS stresses easy to understand controls, similar to the original Famicom games. Players only need to use the A and B buttons to control Famista DS. It sounds like Namco Bandai is trying their best to simplify Famistu DS for the Touch Generations audience who might have played the original game on the Famicom many moons ago.

Looks like my kind of baseball game. Bases loaded was another favorite of mine.

    Is this game import friendly?

Oh, so Famista for Famicom was R.B.I. Baseball. That’s interesting.
