BTW, Van and Penelo both sound pretty bad in Jpn as well since they’re just actors and don’t have any professional voice acting skills. That took a lot out of that game for me too as the voices sound very amateurish. Now Naruto’s English voice sounds good since it’s done by a veteran voice actor, it’s just that I’m more accustomed to Takeuchi Junko.

It just seems like you have serious problems w/ people who prefer to listen to the org. language. Some mentioned they would like Naruto 360 to sport Jpn audio even though it’s developed by Ubisoft, what’s wrong w/ people for such, given that Naruto is a Japanese title after all?

People are entitled to their opinions just as how you seem to prefer dub, some concerns are valid as dub most likely does not sound as good as the original, which is how it was meant to be viewed. Having second rate actors is not helping either. Say, the HK movies Shaolin Soccer of Kung Fu Hustle, I would view them in Cantonese anyday over Eng. dub.

As for me, I always keep an open mind and welcome both given they’re done well. Is Jpn always superior than English audio? No, I’ve seen Harry Potter dubbed in Japanese, of course I prefer the voices by the British actors. Just like how I liked anime in Jpn better. Heck, I played thru Blue Dragon once alrdy and I’m willing to play US release again to listen to the Eng. dub if the game is region-free. Having played many FFs, Shadow Hearts, Xenosagas, etc, in both Eng. & Jpn, I can certainly say that while the dub is not bad, the Jpn version definitely sounds better, not to mention lip-syching from FMW or real time cut scene is perfect in the original language.

I was just making a random comment. On some forums I post on, people are already worried that the dub will be butchured because It could be on Toonami, or not use the game actors, ore use the game actors, which is worse, because they can’t act o_0

@ryne: No one’s complaining how dub is inferior. I’m fluent in Japanese, so when I am watching Japanese anime that originally has Japanese dialogue, why would I go thru the trouble to listen to it in English if I can watch the show on day 1? I don’t care for subtitles either.

Just like when I’m watching American Hollywood movies, I’m going to watch it in English instead listening to it in Jpn dub. Or when I’m watching a French or Spanish movie, I would prefer listening to it as instead of listen to it dubbed. You got anything against watching anything in its original language?
