Ultraviolence break, No More Heroes in ’08

nmhlogo.jpgWe are starting to hone in on when No More Heroes is going to come out. Japan gets it in winter 2007 and it looks like Europe is getting it in early '08 care of Rising Star Games.

The year ahead promises more exciting games in the ‘Harvest Moon’ series for Nintendo DS & Wii alongside groundbreaking RPGs ‘Luminous Arc’ (Nintendo DS) & ‘Valhalla Knights’ (PSP). Early 2008 will see the launch of the much-vaunted ‘No More Heroes’ for Nintendo Wii.

While it’s clear that Europe is getting it in 2008, a slight delay from the previously mentioned 2007 target, the release date in North America is hazy. There are no announcements about it and there isn’t even a concrete publisher on board. It is also unclear if Rising Star is going to localize No More Heroes in Europe first and then ship it over to North America, like Space Invaders Revolution or the reverse as in the case of Contact. Either way it seems like an English version of No More Heroes won’t come out until 2008.

I think Wii owners are pretty much use to this by now. All the games we can’t wait to play are coming out “later.”
