To promote Konami’s Gamestop is giving away a Dewy plush to everyone who pre-orders the game before it is released this fall. The tiny version of Dewy is about 20 centimeters tall and it is the same pre-order gift that Konami is giving out in Japan.
Also Konami updated the Japanese Dewy’s Adventure site with a short TV commercial in the number three spot. If it wasn’t clear before, Dewy’s Adventure uses tilt control to tilt his world, sort of like Yoshi Topsy Turvy, but in 3D.
Quick question how many of you are interested in Dewy’s Adventure? It’s coming out in Japan in July…
I’m interested… although it’s somewhat of a hard sell for me. My least favorite parts of Elebits were the emasculating cut-scenes, where even the little boy’s voice was performed by a woman who did very little to mask that fact.
In this case I’m also turned off by the tilt control. I never really truly liked Super Monkey Ball. I prefer direct control of the character. In what way does tilting the world to move the character even make sense? Does the universe revolve around Dewy? Still, the graphics look a cut above most other Wii games that have been released so far, so I’d still like to check it out.
I’m interested in this game because of Dewy’s ability to change state, but I’m wary too since I wasn’t good w/ Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, will have to see if the tilt control is good or drive us crazy.

That reminds me… I never got that free Elebits plush. Damn you Gamestop.
