Watch: Dragon Quest Swords TV ad

Next week Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors finally comes out in Japan and Square-Enix has a new TV spot to promote it. The commercial demonstrates the gameplay, which consists of slashing slimes that jump on screen. Even if it’s a little too similar to Kenshin Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest Swords on the Wii looks like it could be a lot of fun.

    Dragon Quest fan or not, this is the kind of title that will either be very very popular worldwide, or will suck ass from a straw.

    Looks very fun, and very detailed Toriyama design that I haven't seen in a long time. This will be the first DQ game in Jpn to have voice-over (only the US has voice-over for VIII) too. Would love to play this and Hajime no Ippo Revolutoin the boxing game.
