AtomWatch: Dragon Quest Swords TV ad
Next week Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors finally comes out in Japan and Square-Enix has a new TV spot to promote it. The commercial demonstrates the gameplay, which consists of slashing slimes that jump on screen. Even if it’s a little too similar to Kenshin Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest Swords on the Wii looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Looks very fun, and very detailed Toriyama design that I haven’t seen in a long time. This will be the first DQ game in Jpn to have voice-over (only the US has voice-over for VIII) too. Would love to play this and Hajime no Ippo Revolutoin the boxing game.

Dragon Quest fan or not, this is the kind of title that will either be very very popular worldwide, or will suck ass from a straw.
