AtomSega brings their Bleach games outside of Japan
Sega announced they are bringing two of their Bleach games to North America, Bleach: The Blade of Fate for the DS and Bleach: Shattered Blade for the Wii. Bleach: Blade of Fate is a 2D fighting game made by Treasure with 28 characters and Nintendo Wi-Fi battles. This was previously released in Japan as Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei.
Bleach: Shattered Blade lets players use the Wii remote to slash and poke as if they were holding a sword like a Soul Reaper. Japan got this back around the Wii’s launch and since it contains story elements beyond the Soul Society arc it seemed like it would be a while until we would get it. Sega mentioned that 32 characters will be in Bleach: Shattered Blade, nearly the entire cast unless they are counting each bankai version as a separate character.
Even if a few characters get the axe, it is great to know that Sega will be bringing out their Bleach games in the future. Also if you were reluctant to import Bleach DS and like 2D fighting games, Bleach: Blade of Fate is a must play.

@ryne11 - I’m pretty sure it’s the first by the number of announced characters and since the first game DS game is around the right timeline.

man i luv the bleach show im waiting for they next ep to come out i want this game for ds do u know when its gonna come out????

yo ryne11 the 2 arancar are in it cause i was looking at the cheats and it says how to unlock them

oh and if you guys are wondering y the game is coming out when the tv series is so far back its cause the maga will have introduced the arrancar and vizard on october 2 (oct. 9 is when this game comes out)

Ryan, u sure it said bleach blade of fate cheats and not shattered blade for the two arrancar?

They only people that could likely be cut is Ulquiorra and Grimmjow
Granted, the US manga finished Soul Society and is on the Arrancar Arc.
The Japanese had not had Grimmjow or Ulquiorra in their anime either when this was releases IIRC
Is it the First DS game we are getting, or the second? I am assuming the first, though the only spoiler the second one had was Bankai Ikkaku
