King Trode makes a cameo in Dragon Quest Monsters Joker

If you are in Japan you can unlock the cursed king from Dragon Quest VIII as a fellow monster in Dragon Quest Monsters Joker. All you have to do is swing by Square-Enix’s 2007 Dragon Quest Odaiba Expo and bring your copy of Dragon Quest Monsters Joker. Way easier said than done. Dragon Quest Swords will also be on display and the arcade game Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road.

 

Later this year Square-Enix plans to release Dragon Quest Monsters Joker in North America. I hope they throw some kind of promotion so we can play with King Trode and use his alchemy pot too.
