Something that is probably going to get lost in the torrent of news and impressions is that Microsoft updated backwards compatibility for the Xbox 360. Niche 2D fighting games like Guilty Gear XX #Reload and Marvel versus Capcom 2 made the list (yeah!) along with the two older Project Gotham Racing games.

I’m glad to see Outrun 2 and Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast finally make it to the list of backwards compatible games on the 360. Two great 3D racers that don’t receive the praise and recognition they truly deserve from the gaming public at large.
Too bad that marvel vs. capcom 2 is the glitchiest backwards compatible ever. visual glitches ftl..

Sheesh…almost a little too late with Guilty Gear, what with Accent Core coming so soon…
But of course, as is normal for my life, the only XBOX game I still own is still not backwards compatible… Hurry up and give us Sudeki, Microsoft
