Convulsing my hands back and forth every time I run into a caterpillar doesn't seem condusive to an entertaining or engrossing experience. This is not a knock on the Wii controls, but my perception on how they handle in this game. However, hands on experience trump my visual experience and I'm prepared to recognize this game if more people come up with the conclusions that you did.
