While I do prefer GH’s evolution with the 5 buttons and accessible difficulty curve, I still prefer GF’s format for 2D scrolling notes down, up.

Had they made these games more accessible in the states, I would’ve bought them. Konami really has no one to blame but themselves for missing the boat on this one.

That being said I’d still buy it if they released it stateside.

Well, bout time they’re even releasing more games on the PS2. It took them forever to even do that in Japan, much less bring it over to the US to get localized. They totally jacked up. They had rockbandish 4 player (Guitar Freaks/Drummania/Keyboardmania) co-op play since 2000…………………. Konami actually tried to bring Guitar Freaks to US arcade but did not localize the game at all……

if guitar freaks had used actual guitar songs rather than whatever was left over from pop n music, they might have had some success outside of the japanese arcade scene.
