Virtual Console outlook for Japan in August: Sound Novels and Sonic

There is nothing earth shattering coming out on Japan's Virtual Console shop next month. Super Mario USA (aka Mario Brothers 2), Ordyne and Super Street Fighter II were already released in North America. That makes the most interesting game on the list either Sonic the Hedgehog 3 or Otogirisou. The latter is a Sound Novel developed by Chunsoft. While the interactive Sound Novel genre seemed to vanish, Chunsoft is letting a new generation of gamers try one of their originals out on the Wii… mere months before Sound Novels start appearing on the Playstation 3.
