After playing Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party I quickly jotted down some of the songs in the demo. This is by no means a final list, but it will give you an idea of what Konami is going for in the first DDR game on the Wii. Most of the songs are dance remixes too. Karma Chameleon has the same chorus, but the beat moves at a faster tempo.
99 Red Balloons
Clocks
Blue Monday
Buried a Lie
Call On Me
Caught Up
Disco Inferno
Far Away
Finally
Gonna Make You Sweat (everybody dance now)
Gypsy Woman
Hot Stuff
I Don't Feel Like Dancin’
Karma Chameleon
Lips of an Angel
Nothing But You
Rhythm Is a Dancer
Summertime
The Sign
Too Little, Too Late
You Spin Me 'Round

I hate that the more recent DDR games don’t include much in the way of Japanese music. For me, that’s the best stuff.
Agreed, but then again, DDR will have some competition on Wii with games like Boogie, so maybe it would be best to just skip these new DDRs, play with the old ones and give new franchises a shot.
Do you know which version of 99 red balloons it is? The Nena Version or the Goldfinger one?
@jahiggin - I played that one and it sounded like a cover of Nena’s song with a fast techno pace.
