After Guilty Gear comes helicopters and dodgeball

After Guilty Gear comes helicopters and dodgeballTrue fact: Arc System Works makes games that have nothing to do with Guilty Gear. I kid, because their lineup is becoming more and more diverse every year. They announced two new games and one of them has nothing to do with the fighting genre.

In Puchi Copter Wii Adventure Flight you pilot a remote controlled helicopter on a playground with the Wii remote. The gimmick here is you use the Wii remote as if you were holding a remote for a real toy copter. The concept here is certainly interesting for a future Chibi Robo or Custom Robo game.

They are also publishing (developing? did they get the license from Million?) a new dodgeball game with the kids from River City Ransom. Cho Nekketsu Koha Kunio-kun Dodgeball Bu is more like dodgeball meets the WWE. You can throw weapons and slug each other on your way to the top of the tournament. Looks like this could be a fun multiplayer game since it supports up to eight players. Neat.

Million’s still developing the Dodge Ball game. I think ASW is moving into publishing now. Aren’t they publishing the latest Saburo Jinguji game?

Ah! You’re right! ASW isn’t developing Tantei Jinguuji Saburou DS either. I was wondering how they were handling all these projects at once.

Dodgeball games were a blast on the snes and nes. Changing the character design back the old style is a nice bonus. I couldn’t stand how the gba version looked. Definite buy for me import or us release.
