XSeed Games is releasing a special 10th Anniversary version of Wild ARMs 5, which comes bundled with an 80 page art book. The Art of Wild ARMs has illustrations from the entire series, but you can only get it during the game’s launch on August 28. Since the limited edition package is the same $39.99 price as the game alone fans of the series might want to reserve a copy of Wild ARMs 5 to grab the art book.
xseed = working designs without the attitude?
brave story is brilliant. giant enemy crab!
Wow. Everyone’s jumping on the huge fan-appreciation niche-title package these days.
That’s a good thing in my book.
I’d much rather pay normal price and get goodies as opposed to the “Pay $10 more and get a metal case, and a worthless DVD of footage of us making the game” method.
Go Xseed, go NIS, go Atlus.
When you say Pay$10 more and get the metal case and worthless DVD, I’m thinking of the FF12 Special Edition, but I thought it looked cool, and I think I bought it at the same price as the regular edition too on the release date. but always, in any game, a bonus is always a good incentive to buy the game. I was gonna wait for this to go on the clearence bin to buy it like Wild Arms 4, but the artbook gave me the incentive to get it now, if you dont get the artbook, waiting like half a year while playing other stuff and getting this game is worth the wait

I’m guess the 10th anniversary edition is limited to the first pressing of the game, right? I’ve looked on a few websites (Gamestop, Rosenqueen) and they only have 1 version of the game for pre-order.
Also, check out Tim Roger’s review: http://www.actionbutton.net/?p=44
@Angelous - First pressing only. So if you pre-order it you should get the 10th Anniversary bundle.

Hot Damn! I wasn’t sure whether I would buy this at launch (since it’s right before I leave for Uni after two years at CC), but now I’ve got an incentive to preorder. I’m a sucker for this kind of limited edition stuff. Plus, I loved Wild Arms 3 and expect good things from this new release.
