Koei going double release style on November 1

By Spencer . August 9, 2007 . 12:37pm

koeiop.jpgThe bad news is Opoona, the outer space game here you search for your family, has been delayed from September 27 to November 1. Koei chose to push the game back so ArtePiazza can spend more time polishing Opoona’s helmet and the gameplay.

The good news is San Goku Shi DS 2 got dated for November 1 and it has online play through Nintendo Wi-Fi. Releasing both titles on the same day may seem like Koei is going to be competing with itself. But I don’t think the same audience is going to pick up San Goku Shi DS 2 and Opoona. One game is a tactical simulator based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and in the other you throw bombs by flicking the nunchuck.
