More free Lost Planet maps coming in August

Remember the awesome Lost Technology map for Lost Planet? It’s going to be free with the two other maps in Map Pack #3 beginning on August 16. This news comes less than two months after Capcom released the maps on Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). I shouldn’t complain about free stuff, it’s great and all. But I can imagine some Lost Planet fans who bought the maps on day one feeling ripped off now.

 

On the same day Capcom is going to release the maps for the PC version too along with a patch to improve shading. Capcom is also working on a patch to address connectivity issues for the Xbox 360 version, which will be available “in the next few weeks.”
