How to (always?) win chess against the 360 in Spyglass Board Games

I wasn’t expecting the artificial intelligence in Spyglass Board Games to be on par with Big Blue, but I was hoping it was random. This video suggests that it uses the same patterns because you can beat the computer using the same four moves. Try this trick strategy out and see if it works for you.

It’s not much of a challenge is it? What bugs me is that if you actually get a decent game going with it then it suddenly hurls a piece where you can take it - all too easy. Then again I’m grateful the AI is poor at the other 3 games because I suck at them.

If it doesn’t use random variables then it’s basically worthless. You can download free chess programs better than that.

My dad was in the chess club 30-some years ago and showed me moves like that.

Such a good strategy that someone who doesn’t know the difference between a bishop and a knight can win all the time!

isn’t that like chess 101 stuff? that’s a novelty game that has about a dozen accidental defenses.
