Final Fantasy IV DS, comparison edition

There has been a new scan of Final Fantasy IV DS floating around from Shonen Jump care of true-gaming.net. The pasty orange tone isn’t the best for comparison screen shots. But I made these quick images to give you an idea about how the project is evolving on the Nintendo DS. Cecil as a paladin looks pretty much the same right? See Kain, Rosa and Rydia past the break.

Cecil looks pretty damn cool.

Rosa looks beautiful (CG shot).

Kain looks freaking awesome in both CG and in-game! He was an awesome character anyway.

This looks leeps and bounds better than FF III. they in-game character design in FF III DS looked horrible to me. So much that it rendered the game un-playable in my eyes.

Wow, I really can't wait for this game. Even though I've played through the game multiple times on the SNES and PS1, I'm really looking forward to this. God damn, Kain looks frickin' awesome!

yeah this will be a lot like FF III DS but better ie there will be a real storyline. I got FF III DS back when it came out but I got bored with it only after a few days. (i blame twilight princess)

I had doubts about getting this since FFIII was terrible, but now after this I'm getting it. After all FFIV does have less repetitive grinding and a much better storyline, not to mention Rosa and Kain look plain fantastic in 3D.

Angelous, you need to learn communication better. You can't just string words together and make a sentence. That sentence has to be sensible. The cute graphics of FF3DS could not possibly render the game "unbearable". That would be like saying "I killed God with my bare hands!"

So when are we going to hear some MORE news about FFIVDS?
