AtomSimon’s Quest headed to the Wii
The ESRB popped up with an unsurprising listing of Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest today. Perhaps it will appear as a virtual console game next week. You know Castlevania III is coming in the future too and there are potential issues with the port. The Japanese cart had an on board sound chip to improve the fidelity of the audio and a mapper chip that added in extra background effects.

@thaKingRocka - exactly. I wonder how advanced Nintendo’s Wii emulator is. If it can handle Castlevania III perfectly I’ll be very impressed!

Hell. Yes.
CV2 is my 3rd favorite. (Only beaten out by Dracula X and SotN) This is very good news indeed. =D

Strange problems? Most newer NES emulators I’ve used have run Castlevania III just fine (both the Japanese and the US versions).
