Three ways to control the paddle in Arkanoid DS

Arkanoid DS is getting lots of attention because it comes with an arcade-like knob controller (now being sold in four colors!) that you plug into the GBA slot. You can play the game by twisting the dial to move the paddle left or right. Or you can control the paddle with the touch screen by sliding the stylus left and right on the bottom screen as if you’re dragging the paddle. Arkanoid DS also includes a basic button control set up where players can move the paddle with the D-pad.

As you progress through Arkanoid DS you earn points that can be spent to buy wallpaper, different block types and sound effects to customize the game. Over at Dengeki Online they have a picture of a Space Invaders themed version of Arkanoid DS. Neat!
