The Octopuzzle mystery is solved, but the game isn’t from Atlus

By Spencer . September 5, 2007 . 6:45am

If you were wondering about the fate of Compile Heart’s octopus filled, Nintendo Wii puzzle game, Sharuui Takoron, it is coming to the USA. However, while Atlus is listed as the publisher they don’t have a hand in Octopuzzle’s localization. Atlus is not publishing the game, Conspiracy Entertainment is! Atlus is just handling the distribution similar to the deal they set up with Conspiracy Entertainment for Panzer Tactics. A release date for Octopuzzle hasn’t been officially given out either, but this good news for the handful of people following Sharuui Takoron.

Correction: We've been told Octopuzzle has a name change, it's now known as Octomania.

SomeDude Says:

Octomania doesn’t sound nearly as cool as Octopuzzle.

jeffx Says:

perhaps because octopu… octopii??? aren’t too hot in the US (compared to Japan)

agreed that octopuzzle is a much better name, though.
