The extra case was added to the first Phoenix Wright DS game because the game was an port of the GBA Phoenix Wright.

umm, no the third game does not have all those nifty DS features cause it's direct port from the GBA game. Case 5 of AA1 was added to test the capabilities of the DS. :[

The fink game was extremely grate (mostly the last case but the others to).
I was also a little desponded in Apollo Justice (Maya fan), but if you feel like Mike play that one to it is like a sequel to “Rise from the asses” the all ds feathers.
But "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations" is absolutely the best game in the serie.

Hey Spencer! Just one question--is the gameplay you were referring to similar to Justice for All or the first game? One thing I didn't like about Justice for All is that it plays exactly like the GBA version. The only difference? You can advance the text using the touchscreen.

Ace Attorney, however, was fantastic. You can test for blood spatters using luminol, check for fingerprints with the mic, and examine evidence in 3D. All this good stuff wasn't in Justice for All.

Does this next game take advantage of the DS's features?

Well I'm in the middle of the third case too, and i found it exilarating, expecially for Mr. Amstrong and Kudo!!! I don't mind to finish it too quick, 'cause i want to remember all of this game, Phoenix will miss me a lot and I still don't know why Capcom wanted to change the character!... whatever i think I'll buy the 4° 'cause I like too much this kind of game to miss even only one!(sorry for English, I'm Italian)

I'm only at the 2nd case, but I decided to take my time with this one since it's the last one in the Trilogy (don't plan to play or buy the 4th one).

Yeah, Phoenix Wirght 3 is good. I'm in the middle of the 3rd case only (just started Jeanne d'Arc last night, addictive!), so I can't read this article...

I've played Apollo Justice and now I see why many Jpn fans were disappointed by the DS entry due to various factors (they mentioned nothing of Maya, Gumshoe, or Edgeworth, only Phoenix in 7 years later.. and you don't feel attached to Apollo at all), not that it was a bad game, just leaves a lot to be desired. So 3 is still considered the peak of the trilogy as it wraps everything up nicely, I can't wait to finish it and find out!
