On September 16, nine days before Halo 3 hits stores, Microsoft is selling the Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360. The package comes with an Xbox 360, 20GB hard drive, wireless controller, Play & Charge kit, headset and exclusive Halo 3 downloadable content (theme / gamertag icons) for $399. The price is slightly more expensive the standalone 20GB Xbox 360, the extra cash is going towards Bungie’s paint job.
The sad thing is, this 360 will still probably sell out, just because it’s centered on Halo 3. Worst part yet, Bungie didn’t even bother to include a retail copy of Halo 3 in the bundle, essentially leaving this deal redundant as the game this package is based on isn’t even included with the console.
the play & charge kit isn’t included with the usual premium. that makes bungie’s paint job 30 bucks. i refuse to consider the possible value of themes and gamerpics.
I dislike the model, just as I deslike the Elite in black, I like the regular white one.
Yep, the green is pretty ugly.. I much prefer the white one to the black as well (I had the Blue Dragon bundle), the only thing I miss is the 120 Gb and HDMI (not that it makes much of a difference, but can free up my component)
