I was doubting my eyes at first, Ryu ga Gotoku in feudal Jpn w/ Miyamoto Musashi :)? I have a feeling that playing it in English is silly, been trying to get an import copy of the first game but don't want to get the "Best version". At least the concept seems pretty interesting.

I think the game looks ace, I bet Sega greenlighted it when they thought PS3 would be the undoubtable market leader and are now looking at how they're going to make profit from it though, this one is clearly high budget.

Besides, I'm not expert in the subject, but I think Yakuzas do speak japanese. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Jokes aside, it was also inconsistent to have the main characters speaking english while people in the city speaked japanese. To build afictitious but coherentworld is the secret to a enjoyable experience, Sega.

While the gameplay for Ryu Ga Gotoku/Yakuza was a bit weak (there were some pretty awful camera/lockon problems), the story was good...but the English voice acting was pretty terrible (despite all the money they spent on it) and the dialogue was terrible...F this and F that and F you about every other sentence. It was so bad, after a while I just didn't want to play it anymore, even though I wanted to see how the story progressed. Sega could have save a ton of money and probably not gotten such bad word of mouth if they had just used subtitles and the original J language track instead...it would have had a more limited audience, but it would have had much higher cool factor...ie, more of a noble failure vs. a commercial bomb.
