To play or not to play? Sealed Dreamcast games collected

Pascal, one of the moderators from Sealed Game Heaven, dropped me a line to let me know about his page. Little did he (she?) know that I've scoped it out before. When I first saw it I thought "wow, look at all the games someone else could be playing." Personally, I'm not a collecting kind of person. I like to play my games, not keep them stored away on a shelf like a museum exhibit. But looking at the photos online is kind of neat. I mean check out all these Dreamcast games (that someone else could be playing)!

Arrr, I want those three evangelion games he has

This Pascal person has been spamming their crappy forum on nearly every other forum I visit. Usually a few posts getting people to join, then never heard from again.
  • I dunno, today I saw a guy at GameCrazy trying to get a copy of FF7 resurfaced, so maybe Pascal is on to something.

Holy, that's a lot of sealed games. So the guy played none of them or has two copies of everything, one for playing and one stays sealed. I know some people do that for their favorite games, but the entire collection... While it looks cool, it's really too much waste of money to not enjoy them at least. It's not like the guy would sell his collection either.

I try my best to keep all my games in pristine shape too by keeping them out from dust, so all my games are like new.

    Wow
  • Agreed. Books are made to be read. Movies are made to be seen. Games are made to be played. Like you said, is like depriving someone of enjoying a great (or terrible) experience.
