Spike bringing Fist of the North Star to the DS

The same company who is taking a gamble on localizing Oblivion and other western games picked up the rights to develop a Fist of the North Star game on the Nintendo DS. The gameplay looks quite different from the other Fist of the North Star games because it isn’t a fighting game or a beat ‘em up. Instead Hokuto no Ken: Hokuto Kami Denshoumono no Michi has interactive manga panels that you poke with the stylus. The gameplay sounds more mini-gameish, but Spike might be onto something here. If this concept is refined correctly, interactive manga games could arrive on the market around the same time as volumes are released.
