Hudson’s Dungeon Explorer games heading to North America

dungeonex.jpgTo my surprise at Hudson’s booth there were English builds of Dungeon Explorer DS adjacent to the Japanese demo stations. It’s crystal clear that Hudson plans to bring this game outside of Japan. It even has a new title, Dungeon Explorer: Warrior of the Arts.

After getting over the shock of seeing a full English game at TGS, I crawled around one of the dungeons shot fireballs as a mage and blue orbs with another button. Each button was linked to a meter that slowly dwindled as I was casting spells. The DS version is going to have wireless play and the super neat feature of voice chat.

While the PSP game shares the same name, it has an entirely different story and system that I didn’t get to try out.

HELL YES. However, DS? I thought it was gonna be X360/PSP versions.

Gotta tell my grandma about this. We beat the first one together years ago, when she was a Turbo nut.

@jeffx – No Xbox 360 version was around… when I met with Hudson like two years ago they talked about it, but I’ve never seen it.
