Comments on: Shikigami no Shiro III, Guilty Gear II confirmed for North America

I think it would be a mistake if Arc System Works didn’t release Shikigami no Shiro III on the Wii as well as the 360 in North America. A multiplatform release will only yield more sales, which equal more profit.

With the Shikigami no Shiro series being relatively unknown in the States, hopefully Arc has plans to release the game at a budget price when they ship it to retail stores across the globe. Otherwise, I imagine the general public may simply glance over the title without even giving it a second look, as we’ve seen witnessed with Senko no Ronde.

Personally, I’m just happy that ever since Aksys took over for distribution, GG has been seeing a lot more US action. With the old distributor, I have to wonder if we would have seen GG2 stateside.

Why would they NOT release it on the Wii? There haven’t been any “hardcore” games on that console since… well since forever! That’s what it needs right now.
