Meet Final Fantasy IV’s new star

We mentioned the new ability system before and Famitsu has a screenshot of Paladin Cecil singing. Perhaps, more interesting than ability switching deal is a new playable character for the Nintendo DS version, Pochka. It’s unclear if you’re going to be able to freely switch characters in and out of the party to use Pochka or if Pochka is only usable for a new portion of the story. However, if Square-Enix is adding in new characters they have to be woven into the story, which means Pochka is the first sign of the extended story in Final Fantasy IV.
