Deep down, I truly wish instead of getting Streets of Rage 3 on the Virtual Console in North America we were getting its Japanese equivalent, Bare Knuckle 3. Unfortunately, Sega found it necessary to censor the game during development in the US, even going as far as cutting out a character who goes by the name of Ash.

This detail alone, coupled with the fact I'm holding out on the possibly that Sega might pull a fast one and end up distributing Streets of Rage 3 on XBLA as well at a much cheaper price (if history repeats itself with SOR 2, that may very well happen in a few weeks) it would probably be in my best interests in holding off from downloading this beat-em-up.
