Behind Naruto’s PS3 debut

I’m sure most of you saw the scan announcing Namco Bandai’s Naruto Playstation 3 project. But did you know CyberConnect2 is the team handling the title? CyberConnect2 is the same team who created the Naruto: Narultimate Ninja (Ultimate Ninja) fighting series while Cavia handled the 3D action/adventure Uzumaki Chronicles games. Details are still scarce about the project. CyberConnect2 has not announced a target date or even the genre. But considering how CyberConnect2’s has handled the series thus far I would say the project is in good hands.

This game looks MUCH better that Rise of a Ninja but it wont come out soon. First of all, it starts production at 2008 and since it's a Japan only release(so far JP only) it's gonna take years to come to America.

If you see close you will see that sasuke is in his retrieval arc. clothes....... man, this game look awesome.....

Saiyan Island's posted a video of the trailer showcased at the Tokyo Game show, and it looks good as hell!! The fight scenes they displayed were awsome, and looked better than Rise of a Ninja's!! Based on what I've seen of the game so far, I'll say Rise of a Ninja has some competition...

Since CyberConnect2 is making it, I think they'll have that famous manga-shaded/cell-shaded goodness found in the Narutimate Hero/Ultimate Ninja games. Either way, it looks very good, can't wait 'till it's released. Gotta get a ps3 now...
