What sells fishing games on the Wii?

Bass Fishing Wii from Arc System Works came out in Japan with little attention yesterday. The game is coming to North America too care of Aksys who is bundling it with a free plastic fishing rod controller shell. I haven’t heard anything impressive about the game, but I do wonder which ploy is better, having gravure model Chisato Morishita on the cover or a bland box with a free plastic.

I'd have to say the fish doesn't go very well w/ the girl either, it just looks odd for some reason.. still, it's better than the blown up blurry image I suppose.

She's really wearing too much on the cover to make much of an impression.

I think that the mold would make a larger impact. People go crazy about Wii peripherals, so its likely that it would spark some interest.
